Simple Surf & Turf Bruschetta
Serves 4: With 3 bruschetta per person
12 bread slices from baguette
4 Roma Tomatoes (medium to small size)
1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
1-2 cloves Garlic
1 teaspoon dried crushed Basil
Parmagiano-Reggiano Cheese
Lodestar® Olive Oil
Brush each side of bread slices with Lodestar Olive Oil and put under broiler, browning each side. Cube Romas. Add pressed garlic, basil and sea salt.
Thoroughly mix and spoon onto bread
Pour Lodestar Olive Oil and grate fresh Parmagiano-Reggiano over top at presentation.
History: Very little preparation and can be made to serve a large crowd or the surprise visitor in a short time. Lodestars signature recipe draws the largest crowd at specialty food and wine events.
